Chaka Lake and Keke Lake, situated some 3,000 meters above sea level on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, are free from man-made pollution. They together account for a total salt reserve of 1.5 billion tonnes.

Aiming to fully unlock the tremendous business potential contained in these salt lakes, QS and GSGL are actively diversifying and researching new product domains for both domestic and overseas markets.

The Group is reassessing its production facilities and at the same time introducing new production lines to upgrade the quality of its products. A new production line will be operated in October 2004.
